Producer Estella Del Villar first started working for the Radio Cadena project in Seattle, as a secretary, but quickly advanced to host and producer when a DJ failed to show up for work. Del Villar stands proudly in front of the radio transmitters at the station in Granger on Radio KDNA’s first day on air, December 19, 1979.
